Before & After

Before & Afters

Here a Just a few pictures of some of the wheels that come to Wheel 'Em In on a day to day bases.
BEFORE
In the pictures of the corroded wheels there is corrosion underneath the film coating, a very common problem with BMW’s, Mercedes, Audi’s etc. This is caused by a small hole or crack appearing in the film coating which allows water to enter. The water then begins to react with the alloy and chemicals which creates the corrosion that you see on the alloy.
After
In the other picture of the wheels you can see they have been completely refurbished, the corrosion is removed by simply dipping the alloys into an acid which removes most of the layers of paint and corrosion, they are then put into a media blaster  which cleans up the alloy surface/removes stubborn parts and gives a keyed up surface ready for powder coating which when finished looks like the following image.
